WOTW #16 diacritic

Diacritic  can be a noun or an adjective.  This post will focus on its use as an adjective to mean capable of distinguishing.    (see here) . Sometimes people use ‘diacritical‘ to mean the same.

Example of use:

  1. I found the students in the Big Data Analysis class have excellent diacritic powers.
  2. Librarians’ diacritic capabilities are required when they catalog and classify the collection.
