Nifty also means good, pleasing & effective. It usually means something is cleverly done.

Example sentences:

  1.  I enjoy watching the boxer, the late Muhammad Ali, fight because of his nifty footwork on the canvas.
  2.  He went into the dressing room and came out in a nifty business suit.
  3.  I have a nifty gadget in the kitchen that can open cans, loosen tops on jars, and also carve vegetables into pretty shapes.
  4. My Math teacher showed me a nifty trick to solve that numerical problem.
  5. My favourite cafe is a nifty little place for me to chill and relax with a cup of coffee.
  6. She has a nifty arrangement with her business partner in which she can leave the office to tend to her children’s needs anytime of the day without affecting the efficiency of the business.
